Don't worry, we're here to help

Being the parent of an incoming freshman can sometimes be just as confusing as being an incoming freshman. But worry not, we are here to help, and we are excited to have you join us!

Start off by filling out our interest form here. This will give us your contact information and let us know how you are willing to help if you are.

Our email news letter will let you know of upcoming dates, but sometimes things are fluid. Check our calendar here for the most up to date event requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I pay the Band Fee?
Band Fee can be paid by visiting My School Bucks at https://www.myschoolbucks.com/
Are there any discounts for the Band Fee?
Yes, paying fair share up front by August 15th will get you a discount of $50.

Volunteering for the fireworks tent, competition, and two football game concessions will get you a $100 discount.

-Must volunteer for 1 four hour shift at each event

How much is the band fee for 2024-2025 school year?
The band fee is $350. Sibling fee (if they have a sibling also in band) will be $100.

The uniform fee is $100.

Percussionists also have an extra $100 fee due to the nature of their activities. They hit stuff, it breaks, we need to replace it.

Extra items are not a part of either fees and are as follows:

Bibbers – $60

Marching Shoes – $30

Concert Attire – Dresses $70 – Suits $50

Ties – $15

What do my fees pay for?
The band fee/uniform fee pays for program expenses such as music copyrights, uniforms, new instruments, old instrument repairs, transportation, props, color guard equipment, percussion equipment, instructors, drill writing, choreography, and other expenses.

This fee does not cover all the expenses for the band, but supplements it. That’s where the booster club comes in. As a non-profit we arrange fundraisers, donors, and sponsorships for the band. If you would like to help, please reach out to Mr. Steve at steve@pantherprideboosters.org.

We have the lowest fee in Clay County. Please discuss with Mr. Colon if there are issues with fee payment as many things can be worked through. All children that want to participate in a music program should be able to.

When is Band Camp?
Dates for band camp, colorguard, and percussion clinics have not yet been decided.

What is this fireworks tent I keep hearing about?
The fireworks tent is our largest income fundraiser and pays for most of the expenses for the year. It goes up the week prior to the 4th of July in the Walmart Parking Lot on Blanding BLVD. All proceeds from that tent go directly to the band program, and we always need parent and student volunteers! If you are interested in helping us, please let us know via our interest form or contact us page.
What is an Invitational?
An invitational is a school’s hosted competition and a major fundraiser for the band program. The hosting school does not compete but does an exhibition performance at the end of the day. All proceeds from the invitational go directly to the hosting school’s band program.

The Panther Roar invitational is held in October or November (exact dates to be determined) and we always need people to volunteer. If you are interested please let us know via the contact us form or interest form.
